Filler Words in German: The Discussion
Many thanks to danilotambone in the comments for sharing this link!
It seems like “so” and “also” are pretty safe filler words? Sehr interessant!
Ja, I would say so! “Also” being the safest in the beginning of a sentence… 🙂
Besides, here is another interessant link if you happen to understand something of the Italian language: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Yjhp4jzNlYc&feature=plpp
In this case, the words refer to Deutsch German only, I guess in Austria there’ll be some more local specifications…
Hi, Danilo is right “also” is a very popular filler word, but other filler words are for example: eben, genau, ah ja, so, ach, na geh, äh, ah, leicht ( this last word is often used in Austria and has different meanings, for example: really/ at all; a little; perhaps). greetings from Austria 🙂
Vielen Dank! I appreciate it!
