It seems like “so” and “also” are pretty safe filler words? Sehr interessant!

  1. Ja, I would say so! “Also” being the safest in the beginning of a sentence… ๐Ÿ™‚

    In this case, the words refer to Deutsch German only, I guess in Austria there’ll be some more local specifications…

    Hi, Danilo is right “also” is a very popular filler word, but other filler words are for example: eben, genau, ah ja, so, ach, na geh, รคh, ah, leicht ( this last word is often used in Austria and has different meanings, for example: really/ at all; a little; perhaps). greetings from Austria ๐Ÿ™‚
